The Maracaibo Lowlands sit in the South and Southeast portion of Venezuela and are snaked by rivers. This region is home to warm and humid weather with temperatures reaching approximately 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The snaking rivers are great for fishing and are easily traveled by boat. This is one of the less modernized areas and still has indigenous tribes today.
